Vaccinations are required for your trip to Kenya and Tanzania.
Ask the medical center of your region about this.
The vaccination passport is mandatory (with yellow fever )
Malaria pills are recommended.
Check on time whether your insurance also covers medical expenses in Kenya. And take a travel insurance in which you indicate that you will be riding a motorcycle.
You must drink plenty of water during your stay. We provide that sufficiently. We do not recommend the use of so-called "camelbags" due to the risk of bacterial infections. We have fresh water in the escort car.
Avoid sun burns and take the best sunscreen with you.
SAFETY ON THE BIKE
Cross speed is 70 km per hour. Maximum speed 80 km. per hour
Maximum speed on dirt roads 50 km.
Always keep sufficient distance.
It is not allowed to ride a motorbike without a guide.
It is not allowed to drive next to the road.
In the villages reduce speed to 40 km per hour.
HOW SAFE IS AFRICA?
Africa is safe in the same way as Europe.
Bear in mind that Africans are proud of their country and they do not appreciate criticism of their country.
Do not mix with an opinion in political or religious discussions.
Respect the police, soldiers and officials.
Do not take photos of airports, government buildings, soldiers or the police.
Do you not want to be addressed? Avoid eye contact.
Plastic bags are strictly forbidden.
MOTORBIKE CLOTHING
Consider a temperature of 30-35 degrees C. and bright sun.
A motorcycle jacket is safe, but warm; better is a blow-through jacket.
Summer motorcycle pants with ventilation.
Do not wear military, camouflage clothes.
Bring protection for shoulder, elbow and knee.
Pocket for a small camera is easy.
Normal motorcycle boots are fine, but warm. Sturdy, high mountain boots or ventilating cross boots are a good alternative.
Motorcycle gloves (summer)
Light rain suit for a shower.
Someone can wash your clothes and motorcycle clothing for a fee.
Take cheap sunglasses with you.
Of course you take your integral motorcycle helmet with you.
We put safety first and require a complete and complete motorcycle suit, if this is insufficient or not present, there will be no driving.
CASUAL WEAR
In any case, bring light long pants, sneakers and swimwear.

Most hotels have WiFi. The bush camps usually do not.
The voltage in Kenya and Tanzania is 220 volts.

VISA, PASSPORT and DRIVING LICENSE
Visa for Kenya is € 40.= easy available at the border in the airport Kenya.
You can buy a Tanzania $ 50 and Uganda $ 50 visa at the borders.
Passport must be valid for 6 months upon entering Kenya.
International driver's license is not required.

Single travelers join a room with 2 beds in consultation with other single travelers of the same sex. If you do not want to be assigned to another participant, you can book a single room at the applicable surcharge.
